A bank that literally does not want new customers!

Wednesday 17 January 1pm - 4 pm, 6 calls later and the options to join Discovery Bank as a new customer on ***, lead to the message "You have called outside of our working hours." I guess week days/business hours are too old fashioned for Discovery?

Trying to sign up on the Discovery App, leads to an infinite OTP loop. I can't even get past stage 1. It seems all of the negative reviews here about a poor app experience are true.
