3D secure banking not so secure at all- ***** still possible

On the 15th I ordered a pair of sneakers on their website https://www.skechers-south-africa.co.za and was directed to their 3D secure payment portal. I made the payment and verified the payment on my banking app.

When I returned to the site there was a warning that my order should not be honored because my payment failed.

When I looked on my bank there was a transaction for a ‘thehousesgoods.com’ company and a USD transaction.

I immediately called the ***** line(ref ***6) since the transaction was still in pending status, the call got cut off and I redialed and reported it again(ref***1). The gentleman said it should be resolved and the money returned within 72hrs. It has been 4 days and no updates yet.
