Worst experience at Dischem Cavendish

I'm shocked and disgusted at dischem Cavendish branch I went to their self medication dispensary today to get nasal spray I didn't have my dischem card so they looked up my details and I was told that I have a R64 balance that I didn't pay I was shocked as I recall making a purchase for allergex and Adcodol in November and I Cleary remember going to the cash desk to pay for my purchase The lady assisting asked me more than once if I perhaps put the items down and walked out to which I rep**** no another lady at the dispensary chimed in and said that I didn't pay I was so embarrassed as there was customers behind me I asked them how long it would take to sort the matter out and they couldn't tell me I gave them my number and asked them to call me back as I had to go back to work Later in the day I received a call from someone at dischem claiming to be calling on behalf of the manager who told me that I needed to pay for the items I took in November I then asked how I could have left the store with a green basket from the dispensary to which the lady on the phone said we can see on the cameras that you didn't pay I was very angry i asked if she was accusing me of being a ***** She then rep**** by telling me that they saw on the camera that their cashier didn't scan the dispensary packet barcode Now my question is how does such a large store have staff who can't even remember to scan barcode and how is it my problem and where do they get off accusing me when they have *********** staff The lady on the other end of the phone told me she was only telling me what the manager said I'm so dissapointed at the service o received I requested that the manager call me back and I am still waiting on the call I will never shop at dischem again I have no problem paying the R64 rand but the way they handled this error made by them really disturbed me I will never shop at Dischem Cavendish again I work in retail and customer service levels should be at a better standard for such a large chain store.
