Well done & Thank you, Nombulelo

Thank you and well done to Dischem Baby City on the whole for a job well done at the Mamamagic expo in Midrand this December 2022 but more so thank you to somebody specific.

Who & Why? I had a long list of items to purchase as my wife could not make it as she had a premature labor mid November. So after a long list of items gathered on the Saturday, 2 trolley loads full, while paying at the counter, I realized I forgot something else off this list, left my friend to process the items at the till and went back in to get what was needed. got back to the till and they (the cashier and my friend) were done with the scanning of all items.. I confirmed if we were done and paid for everything..

Got home & to my surprise a few items paid for were not taken by mistake. Was more stressed as I noticed the toy I bought for the baby that wasnt there..

So, I Got up early on Sunday and went back, stressing because I thought I wasnt going to even be remembered with the thousands of patrons passing through there, but more so because I wanted my baby's toy. I went back to the cashiers area and met a pleasant lady assistant who I explained my issue to, who then checked that it was Nombulelo till0002 who assisted me on the Saturday..

This is where the story amazed me, the lady Nombulelo, did have my packet of items and according to her tried getting my details from my loyalty card as well to contact me, she handed over my forgotten packet to the security and was kept safely. When they brought the packet, there were over 20 items in the bag that I had forgotten, unrealizing!

Some staff get lambasted at times, im sure, for bad service but trust me, staff like Nombulelo which im sure you have more of, need to be acknowledged and thanked for their quality of customer service!

So well done but more so thank you, Nombulelo, for your outstanding service and going the extra mile for a dis chem client!!
