Waited for a delivery

I called the pharmacy in the morning to ask if the driver could bring my prescription to me at work, I called at 12 to say that I was going into a meeting until one they said it's fine I can go to my meeting, 2.20 I call again to say that I am leaving in an hour. they asked the driver if he will make it in time. He said yes . I called again round three he said his in my area by the warehouse which takes less than 5min traveling by car to get to where I am . Why was I not told that he can't so I can make means to get them from another dischem now I have waisted all my time efforts and airtime on a person who won't even come
