Unhelpful, pathetic, excuse of **** professionals

Absolutely horrified with the treatment from Dischem Bluff's staff. I was asked by the sister to get a script for a compression stocking to assist with my varicose veins. I handed it over and she took the measurements, then submitted it to the Homecare department to get the right fitting for me. Dischem Bluff sister submitted all my documents through. When it was ready, they simply said I must pick it up from the collections counter. No one helped me or advised me about the manner in which to use it. I am well aware that a stocking must be tight and I have seen people using it. However, when I got home, I was totally unable to pull it up even beyond my heels. I phoned Dischem and the sister was totally disinterested in my plight. Instead of advising me what to do, she immediately said Dischem cannot refund it because Dischem does not supply it. I DID NOT ASK FOR A REFUND! I had called to ask for help and guidance in fitting it because I felt that maybe I was doing something wrong and they are better trained to tell me or show me how it is done. I went back to them, after another doctor failed to get it up as well. The sister then tried to fit it and she failed. She kept insisting she took the right meaurements but was unable to pull it beyond the heels. She kept insisting that she cannot come to my house every morning to fit it and that it would be very expensive for her to come to my house to do it. I NEVER ASKED HER TO COME TO MY HOUSE!!! She was very defensive and put the blame on the suppliers. I emailed the suppliers because she said that I should go to them as Dishem couldn't help me. The suppliers said they cannot exchange it for a bigger size. Now either the sister at Dischem or the department who supp**** the product is at fault. So why are they stressing me as a pensioner out to run in circles and the it wasn't cheap either. So a person's whole monthly pension is paid to get something to help make life comfortable and it is now useless. I challenge DISCHEM to prove that they are not trying to ***** money from a pensioner who is struggling financially and who trusted their staff to do the right thing. I am so upset and stressed. This is totally unacceptable and *********** old people is not fun. But Dischem staff have no conscience, are on the defensive, ruthless, arrogant and unhelpful, besides being rude and unapproachable. The sister seemed to mock me because I am old. She struggled for over half an hour and FAILED!!! So how am I supposed to use something that is 2 sizes too small. So will Dischem have the guts to respond or will they condone their staff's illtreatment to old people!!! It is actually a sin because they also have parents who are old. Karma will bite them when one day they have to sit with their old parents with a similar problem, but I guess they just don't care about old people, whether it is their parents or not. I got the feeling that this sister was repulsed to even touch my feet. I may be old, but I am clean and had a bath before I went to her!!! I am a loyal Dischem client, but I think I will have to travel further than Bluff to another branch to be treated with dignity and respect.
