Underwhelming service /terrible attitude
I, on the 5th of April went to Dischem Southgate to get adult pull-ups for my son who is special needs, he had run out. I was "assisted" by the first "pharmacist" who kept saying the claim was declined by medical, I explained she should not claim under self medication as it wouldn't approve, these diapers should be claimed under PMB using an authorization number provided by my medical aid. She kept saying it was declining. I know if she was claiming correctly they would've approved coz I had bought the same diapers from Dischem Newcastle mall and in less than a minute I was out of Newcastle mall(excellent service from them by the way). She then sent me to a different "pharmacist" who also clearly had no idea what she was doing and after an hour of my wasted time with a restless special needs child and an elderly person traveling with me she eventually came up with another excuse to NOT ASSIST me. After seeing that they have no idea what they were doing I left and paid for them cash. Today went back to Dischem Newcastle mall and again 1minute my son's diapers were paid for by medical aid and was out of there. Clearly everyone at Dischem Southgate is not well trained, they have no clue what they doing and I do not understand how the same store could have a group of ppl who are clueless and another store have a group of ppl who are service driven. I'm absolutely appalled by the treatment and attitude I received from those "pharmacists" if that's what they are. To think people go there to get advise on treatment when they are sick is sooooo scary to me, fearful for anybody who gets medical advice from Dischem Southgate pharmacy. Absolutely unacceptable. The attitude is what gets to me as much as the lack of knowledge.
