Tommee Tippee disaster

I purchased a Tommee Tippee steriliser from the baby expo. Only to get home abs realise the pin plug head is a European head that doesn’t fit on any of my plugs. O contacted Baby city woodlands. Only to be told that I need to get an adaptor. I was told Dis-Chem has these. I have now been up and down looking for this adaptor, with no luck. How does the sales rep not mention this. I am livid to say the least
