The name Dis-Chem is misleading, please change your name to something else.

I was at Dis-Chem earlier today doing some price comparisons on health products that you would also find in health shops. Health shops are not renowned for their competitive pricing and don't pretend to offer good value as Dis-Chem does. Health shops offer niche products and work on low volumes and high margins. You'd think Dis-Chem would be significantly cheaper on these products but they are not. Dis-Chem pretty much charges the same as health stores. I'm not sure how they would justify that, I don't think they can.

I also wanted to get some Teekanne tea bags for which you would pay an average of around R50 at most places where it is sold. Not Dis-Chem, they charge R53 for their Teekanne.

But they should stop pretending to offer good value and change their name to something more honest.
