Staff refused to call other branches for stock

I recently purchased lip ice at one of the check out counters at Randpark ridge. It is round and looks similar to an egg. I asked for blue or grey in which I believe you can get blue. When I called to find out who has stock (as I need 20 blue ones for a baby shower), the guy told me eish this and eish that and he doesn't know etc. SO I told him I will call every Dischem in Jhb and he says ok and laughs???? SERIOUSLY??? Please tell me this is a joke! Is it THAT hard to find out who has 20 blue ones in stock WITHOUT me the CLIENT having to phone every store??? Ridiculous!
