Smoking VS Customer service

What is happening with Dischem? I’ve been at Preller and Fleurdal needed assistance from Management. When I asked at Preller please call your Manager the response was he is currently smoking outside, really!!!! I was astounded, how can this be possible? I walked out for seriously I'm not going to wait for Management to fill their lungs with poison. Thereafter I decided to try again, visiting Fleurdal. I asked to see Management, to my surprise, I was led to the Managers office, the door was closed. Is this how Customers needs to be treated? All I wanted was to buy bulk of the heat holder socks. What I can remember was that those socks cost around R100. I wanted to buy for one of the retirement villages, approximately 350 old age people a pair of socks, but Im no longer going to spent at Dischem. Your Managers sucks. And i over heard in one of the isles that one of the staff members were saying that they are looking for the assistant manager and then another employee answered he is probably outside smoking.... what’s going on??? Do they get paid to smoke or to deliver a services?? What a coincidence..
