Rude dischem employee
We came to your store today at Fourways Mall, the 16th of June. My partner happened to greet one of your employees by saying "hey bro", the guy then misunderstood him and thought he said "boy". Your employee came to speak to one of the security guards and spoke about how my partner disrespected him and called my partner with "judgemental names", I did not understand until I turned and saw him pointing at him. When my partner came, I asked him if he had spoken to that guy and he was confused. We let it slide but as he saw that we knew each other, he then asked if my partner was asking something, then he said I was asking where the dettol is. It did not sit well with me because I heard the entire conversation between your employee and the security guard kept smiling not understanding or trying to not involve himself.
As we reached the till point, I asked to speak to him. I apologized for the misunderstanding and tried to explain to him that as much as he felt offended for assuming he was called a "boy/umfana", he also said offensive things about my partner, and no customer should experience such, he acted like a typical Zulu man and did not want to listen nor apologize and asked me if we fighting. When Mampe Masilo and the other CASHIER realized this was escalating, they just asked what was wrong and told me to let it slide.
Please educate your employees to be careful of what they saying about customers because they do not know who they with or dealing with, I am so disappointed because this is someone that has to act as an Ambassador for the store, a bad perception can chase a customer away. It is even worse because even after we resolved this, he still continued. I did not get an opportunity to get his name however he was at till number 4 after Mampe Masilo around 03:08pm.
