Ridiculous Prices for Floic acid Tablets

I went to the Bluff dis chem on the 20/02/2016 to purchase BE-TABS FOLIC ACID 5MG (RANBAXY ) X 2 ,which I normally pay around R 16.00 + ,I think the most I paid for these tablets is R18.00.I didn't check my slip at the time only when I got home I saw the price was R82.95 X2.I think to pay so much for folic acid tablets is DAY LIGHT *******, this is something that the clinics provide patients for Free. So I went back to the store on the 21/02/2016 to return the tablets (Which are still sealed ) only to be advised that Dischem pharmacy policy is they do not return medication. I feel the way my situation was handled ,No one tried to even attempt to assist my query.
