Ridiculous Dischem

I was shopping at Dischem Valley View on 21/11/2025 and decided to purchase an air cooler which is on promotion. Arriving at the checkout I was informed that I need a loyalty card to qualify for the discount. I do not have a loyalty card and do not want one. I do however understand the policy that you must present a loyalty card to qualify for discount. It is however what happened next that caused that I will never set foot in any Dischem ever even if I have to pay double for an item. The customer next to me offered to let me use her loyalty card just to be told that it is not allowed. How ridiculous. Dischem will loose nothing by allowing this. All other major retailers does not have a problem with this. Shame on you Dischem. I was warned about you. So glad my eyes finally opened.
