DisChem's new 'Better Rewards' is another gimmick/**** to make money for themselves. Whereas in the past you got a percentage cashback for purchases on almost every product, that has been reduced to 140 products that you 'so-called' get an instant 10% discount. On the whole DisChem's prices have been increasing monthly, so it's easy to offer a 10% discount. Then, if you go to the 'Self Medication' counter and purchase an item, all your green tag purchases will get an extra 5% discount. So you must waste some more money and go and buy a non essential item to get more discount. (and hold up the queue at the back for customers who need genuine medication). Oh, and pay with Capitec and another 5%. Then they advertise that they are increasing their dividend to their Shareholders by 9% because of the profit expected from this 'new' gimmick. Do not be fooled. It's about enriching themselves, not helping us the customers. We are being fleeced. WAKE UP!
