Reject Panda Nappies from Dischem Clearwater and poor service

I purchased a pack of Panda nappies in January and this was my first experience with these nappies. Half way through the pack I realised that two of the nappies were damaged. The one nappy did not have a sticky tape attached to the one side and the second one had two sticky tapes attached to the one side.

I emailed the care line on the 22 January 2020 and in my email I stipulated that I wanted the two to be replaced (not the whole bag)

I got a response on the 24th January 2020 on ticket number *** from Chantelle Batt requesting that I provide her with the batch number, barcode number, expiry date and store that these were purchased at. I was told that the "remainer" of the product needed to be returned for a full refund and that the quality assurance department would conduct a full investigation.

I rep**** indicating that I only have the receipt and the flawed nappies as I unpack the nappies into my babies drawer after purchasing. I also explained that I was not looking for a full refund as I was utilizing the nappies that were usable.

I took the damaged nappies to Dischem Clearwater mall on the 28 February, an insert was written into a file and the nappies wrapped in a A4 page. My details we written in the same file.

I was told that the store manager said that the supplier would be contacted and feedback provided to me. I then asked who the store manager was and was told that he is Phillip Swart. I made it very clear that I am not looking for freebies when the lady assisting asked me nappies I use normally but that I required as a consumer acknowledgement of some sort.

To date I have not heard anything from Dischem and I am disappointed that it is probably assumed that my complaint is too minor to be addressed or acknowledged
