R150-00 - bad attitude simply cost you a customer

3 weeks ago I purchased a bottle of eau de toilette and was advised on 01/03 there would be a 20% discount on selected fragrances. My phone number was taken down and I was duly reminded thereof. I specifically went to Dis-Chem on 01/03 and purchased 2 bottles of Kouros. The gentleman behind the counter advised this was not on special and neither was Lacoste. I went to pay and hey, presto! I received the 20% discount on the Kouros. This morning I went to purchase Lacoste and was told by the same salesman that I should've purchased this on Sunday, I would've received 20% off. When I asked why I couldn't get this now as this was their mistake I was argued with. When I approached Eben he had the same attitude. So, for *****ing me out of R150, you lost a sale of nearly R1 000 this morning and from a customer who spends up to R4 000 a month in your store, you've lost that too. It's nice to know in these hard times you can afford to do this. This was your mistake and your staff don't know what they are talking about. All for R150-00!!!!
