Poor workmanship

I purchased an Elektra Care smart Body scale from Dischem in Zevenwacht Mall Kuilsriver in February. I have used it 5 times. And now it has started giving issues. It keeps showing an error signal. I have tried to change the batteries and it still giving the same issue. Ive been struggling with this scale for 4 months now. And by now I have lost my receipt. Is this the quality of product that Dischem sells? Very dissapointed. Please could I have a refund urgently. This is unacceptable. Now I can see why they arent even listed on Hello Peter.
