Poor service Dis-Chem Bracken Gardens (Brackenhurst)

I went to Dis-Chem Bracken Gardens (Brackenhurst). I bought a skin product prescribed by my Dr. I only noticed the cream I bought will soon expire. When I called in the guy who answered said I can still use the product even if it expired. I asked what is the purpose of expiry date on the product if I can still use it?

Yolande the manager, she also doesn't care when I explained the conversation I had with the guy who said I can use the expired product my skin. She said they are allowed to sell a product that is about to expire on the same month of expiry. How can you trust these people who are dealing with our health when they give you answers like these? I said d to her I needed an exchange because I won't be comfortable using a product that has expired, she said if it expires I must go back to see the Dermatologist again so they can prescribed another medication for me. So meaning I must spend more money on Dr's because they just wanna make sales on their product that has short life before they expire. She told me her manager will call me, even today I'm still waiting for that call. I was surprised when she told me it is my duty as a customer to check the expiry date on medication we buy not theirs.
