Poor Service by a Medical professional at Dischem

My husband is a mobile technician but is not a youngster and as such can only "do stuff" on a weekend. He has for the last 2 years gone to Dischem on a Saturday to have an injection administered (which takes 3 min he has the medication to be given with him) and as far as I see it, it is a quick R60 for Dischem and in no way impacts anything and anyone. We quietly went and took our seats in front of the sister on Saturday to wait our turn. There was only one other gentleman and it was around 9.30am (early) A person, who I assume was the sister, walked out of the door walked past us and stopped and looked at us. My husband with a smile said that he just needed an injection for his medication and she snapped back that they work by appointment ONLY. My husband is over 60 and I felt he was not spoken to with respect and in the like manner in which he addressed her. I mention there was no one in the rooms. We both saw this and he said that fine he will call. He called from his cell to the switchboard and went through the button pushing and when he selected the clinic, was cut off. He called back and asked the switchboard to put him through which they refused saying they couldn't. A third cell phone call and he got through to hear her tell him that she was fully booked. Up to this time she had not returned from where ever she went, there was no one in the room and the gentleman who HAD an appointment was still sitting waiting and there was still no one else. I do understand rules, however there is a respect and courtesy that can be shown to customers. Especially since this was not the fist time we have gone to this particular Dischem for this particular service. I feel if the sister did not feel like assisting she could have at least spoken nicely and then offered us options. What happened to the customer is king. I come from a retail background and I am shocked by the way we were handled. I am most disappointed in the store and will definitely think twice before I go there again for anything. Yes convenience is one thing, but so is courtesy, respect and SERVICE. Especially a "Paid" service. We were, before this incident also thinking of bringing hy husband's chronic medication over to Dischem, but if we do it will DEFINITELY not be at this branch. It really soured the day for us but I guess customers are a dime a dozen.
