Policy is not what was promised on phone.

Be careful when taking a policy out with Kaelo Health. You can tell the agent exactly what you want but what they sell is not what you wanted. And then you can't claim. The agents are only there to get a salary. Like most SA institutions client service is not important. They got your money why must they care about you or in my case my mom. More than a year ago I got the policy. One to cover my mom in case of an accident. She fell this year (not covered - I had no proof of policy). I wanted to get dentures. I told the agent she has no teeth and needs dentures and that I need to pay extra. Tried to claim this year. Not covered only for dentistry. What for no teeth. Could have used 12 months premiums to pay for petrol to get my mom to hospitals when she fell. And like most people I am busy I don't have the time to read the policy. Wish I had read it. First job is to take care of mom. Even my family is standing back.
