Please help us stop the spread of COVID 19 by stopping increases in the prices of hygiene products

Went to a kzn dischem branch today (19/04/2020). Was really upset to see that the alcohol disinfectant which was being sold by dischem for R49 directly prior to the COVID 19 outbreak IS NOW BEING SOLD FOR R99.

Really shocking. Whilst our entire country is trying their best to make donations etc to help people to get what they need to combat COVID 19 and the impacts thereof, our stores are making it more difficult to purchase these hygiene items which have become a necessity during this period. Even hand sanitizers & hand washes are at sky high prices.

Our stores shouldn't be doubling their prices during this period and making it even more difficult for people to access these hygiene products than it already is. It's sad because most people end up buying **** hand sanitizers from locals due to the ridiculous prices that our stores have now put up. Buying of **** hand sanitizers means that people aren't actually protecting themselves from becoming infected when they use these **** hand sanitizers.

Just as SA citizens are joining together to help provide for each other, stores should also join in helping us instead of trying to make us pay ridiculous prices - most of us don't even have money to purchase these things due to job losses, no work no pay situations, poverty etc but we are trying to in fear of our lives being at risk - Don't make it harder for us to do so.
