Pathetic service at Glen Lucia wellness Clinic

I have been to the Glen Lucia dischem wellness clinic for my toddlers chicken pox vaccine. It took me two weeks to wait for an appointment. When I arrive there I provide the vaccination book and tell the clinic sister on duty that I’ve already purchased medication which is in their fridge. Half an hour later she returns and tells me the dispensary has some bad news and I must wait for them. Another lady comes through and tells me that there is no stock of my medication. I tell them I have already purchased my medication so how can that be? She says “ It is probably due to “load shedding” and the medication is no longer available, but didn’t someone call you to tell you this?” Obviously I wouldn’t have arrived for my appointment if I knew about it. I planned my entire day around the vaccination and wasted a trip to La Lucia mall.

Over time the level of service at this wellness clinic has deteriorated and I would easily say that I would prefer to never return there and recommend other mums not to do so as well.

I have a few complaints about the Glen Lucia clinic which has built over time. 1. You cannot easily obtain appointments on a Saturday, but when you arrive the wellness clinic is never busy. 2. you will wait for an extremely long time for your turn inspire of having made your appointment.
