PATHETIC is an under statement

I used to love Dis-chem however that has changed. It takes an absurd time to fill your script. On the 31st October 2019, I went to Dis-chem to refill my script waiting almost a half an hour in the queue, eventually I was attended to by pharmacist, I explained to him that I did not want the generic medication, it took him an absurd amount of time to load my profile he then proceeds to get the medication. He brings the generic medication, I once again explained to him that the doctor prescribed the original medication, I only took a week of the generic medication as I had to pay it cash. He said to me the system stipulates the generic medication, I requested for him to pull the original script. He leaves for a while and sends another pharmacist to assist me. I had to explain everything to her also. This entire excersize took me more than a hour to fill my script. Apparently this is acceptable, I find this highly unacceptable, if this is the level of service patients are to expect from a national pharmacy, I would then rather have my script moved to a local pharmacy, one that can provide me with patient / pharmacist professionalism.

Clearly Disc-Chem staff cannot even uphold the company motto.
