Pathetic Customer Service, Disappointed

I enrolled to the baby programme sometime in October 2018 after finding out that i was pregnant. I went to Dis-chem Southgate and advised by the consultant at the customer service desk that in order to qualify for the baby bag i need to spend R650 first with some exclusions on certain purchases. The R650 can be spent either in one go or over a few purchases. The very same day i spent close to R300 if not more and was well on my way to getting the points i needed. To my dismay i enquired at Dis-chem Cresta how much more i must spend in order to qualify for the bag as my due date has now moved up and i havent received any notification on my baby bag. I was advised by the consultant that i was never enrolled onto the baby programme and that the amount to spend is now R850. Im really disappointed in the poor service received from the consultant at Southgate. If she didnt know how to to enrol me she shouldve said so. Im almost due and now im being told of a R850 i need to spend to get a baby bag. I feel that this is totally unfair and needs to be sorted out.
