Pathetic and Degrading Customer Service

I visited Dischem Strubensvalley to pick up my mother's chronic medication due to her age and mobility issues. Despite her monthly call center request, Dischem Strubensvalley consistently packs "unscripted" medication, causing frustration when picking up the medication despite her no longer using it. Yesterday was no different, once more. When I brought up the ongoing problem I was having with the young woman working at the collection counter, Bella Selau, she looked up my mother's profile and confirmed that there was a note stating the same thing. Subsequently, she took out the mentioned medication and asked me to sign a document that still had the medication on it. I dutifully completed this after receiving confirmation that she had changed the amount on the label that was attached to the package. I noticed the amount when I signed the form. However, the amount was considerably higher when I got to pay at the cashier. I was so irritated and frustrated at the moment that I declined to pay the amount. This is where things start to get very annoying. Bella went back onto my mom's profile and started listing the prices for each line item in a PATRONIZING and CONDENSENDING manner. She then instructed me to figure out the total amounts on my own. At this point, I became upset that a Dischem employee dealt with customers as if they were still in kindergarten. I asked to speak with Chantal, the manager but was told she wasn't available. After this incident, I took the medication and tried calling Chantal multiple times, but each time I got put on hold because of "High Call Volumes." Sadly, this incident could have been prevented if the dispensing staff had been more CONSCIENTIOUS in observing the NOTE that was placed on the profile. Bella and a few "other" employees at Stubensvalley need to take an urgent customer service course. In the hopes that this kind of upsetting treatment won't happen again, I have since made plans to have my mom's profile and mine transferred to another store.
