pathethic service recieved at Dischem Meadowdale

I was shopping at Dischem Meadowdale on 30/10/2017 and was shocked at the pathetic service and management at the store. Dischem prides itself as "Pharmacist who care".....does this slogan only apply to the pharmacy section of a shop????

In the front shop most of the time you will find the aisles vacant with no personel available to assist you with query. Then by chance you stumble across someone working there, they seem troubled by your question, totally clueless and simply refer you to the pharmacy.

On the day in question I was looking for a specific soap, the staff referred me to the pharmacy. I found this odd as why would a dispensary keep the soap. The man at the pharmacy then had to call someone from the frontshop to show me where the soap is kept.

What kind of mickey mouse business is this where people who are working with the products do not know where it is located. Then there is this stooge of an individual who wears the manager tag, in my few times at the store I always find him involved in chats with white customers, and he appears oblivious to the surroundings.

On the day in question, after the run around getting my soap, I enter into a queue of patients waiting to pay, when I popped my head over to see how many tellers there were, I could not believe my eyes....two cashiers!

I have been to dischem stores where at any one time there are ten cashiers waiting to help you. After 20 minutes in the queue, I began to make some noise asking to see the manager, they claimed he was busy in his office.

What kind of manager is this that hides away in his office when its busy??? A manager that does not want entertain complaints or queries??? A manager that only shows himself in "quiet times " to socialise with white folk?

I have been a Dischem customer for ten years now, this is the worst service I have received at any of their stores. With staff like that and manager who lacks s****s, I would advise consumers to stay away from this store! that certainly was my last visit to the Dischem Meadowdale!
