Over working staff

I went to dischem this afternoon. I was assisted by a lady to help me choose a foundation the lady looked completely exhausted, she had bags under her eyes and looked like she would collapse. I asked what was going on, she then mentioned she's working for 10 days straight and had no off day. From my understanding the law in RSA is a person works 6 days and gets a off day. Why is it Dischem is overworking their staff. This matter is concerning and actually appauling that dischem is overworking staff
