OTC person ********

I went to the OTC counter and asked for something to use on my fingernails. The person behind the counter came back with an ointment for athlete's foot. I explained again what I wanted. She returned with another ointment for athlete's foot. When I queried her knowledge of the treatment she was trying to give me, she said if it could be used on the foot it could be used on my fingernails. Now in this instance, not a dangerous mistake to make, but the capacity for her to make someone seriously ill is clearly there. I spoke to the manager who seemed unconcerned at her lack of knowledge of the products she was dispensing. A lawsuit waiting to happen in my opinion.
