Not cool

Bought some things at the dischem store in fores****, 1 of which was the Colgate whitening pack which has 2, because I was in a rush and I know this 1 particular cashier, I asked her to hold onto the toothpaste for me while I go do something on my phone, mind you I had a drink and a chocolate, come to find out the cashier told me they do not want to give the toothpaste to her because they are not allowed to take things from customers, that is not a problem, my problem is, why wasn't that said to me while my things was handed over and they got the slip to show my proof of purchase! The way the store is being run is not cool man, most of us wants to be in and out but now I have to fight for my own toothpaste and they held onto my slip so I can't do anything about it, they don't wanna refund me either so I dont know what to do, fores**** dischem sucks, I felt bad for getting the cashier into such trouble because I was not aware.
