Northgate service is shocking and has deteriorated drastically

Yesterday was again appalled at Northgates inconsistency and the blatant garbage that staff claimed. Each time I purchase Dischem Paracetamol it is either just given to me or the Dischem card is requested and items put in plastic bag which is clear that Dischem does not support the environment, or put in a plastic bag and cage locked with a cable tie. Yesterday the customer next to me was the plastic bag, and mine was the plastic bag and cage. When wanting to check with the manager, the staff member who offered to call him obviously thought I was totally ******** and said she had bought disprin and it was put in a plastic bag and cage. This just irritated me more. Then I went to look for the Procydin that is advertised on TV and on sale at Clicks and Dischem per the advert, however the same staff member and others didn't have a clue and tried to sell me something else. One would think if the advert specifically mentions retailers names the staff would be aware of it. When I got to the Cashier declined to give my card because it wasn't necessary and then offered it as I was curious about the points then the cashier needed to call the Supervisor and then I just left because I had enough. The service has deteriorated. The staff are apparently ******** about the products so why are they in the specific department and what is of major concern they they are so inconsistent about the laws.
