No exchange for Essence make-up.

I bought Essence make-up at Dis-Chem on 18/12/2018 when I got home the afternoon I realised that I bought the wrong shade when I looked at the make-up bottle I still had left (same brand and type). I went back the next morning just after they opened to exchange it for the correct shade. A women took the bottle from me and took the lid of (there was still a sticker seal around the neck of the bottle) and there was a little bit of the make-up at the mouth-piece so she told me I have used it, which was not true since I knew it was a shade to dark. She called the manager and she also told me that it couldn't be exchanged because it looks like it had been used. Since that is the way Dis-Chem debates, here is my debate, this means when I buy make-up at Dis-Chem although it still has a sticker seal on which should give me confidence that is brand new, someone could have already used it. Dis-Chem just lost a loyal customer, and because of them Essence is losing one as well, since I from now on can never trust that the make-up I buy from Essence with a sticker-seal still on, was not used.
