Megacity Clinic dilemma

I went to Dischem Megacity in Mafikeng to vaccinate my child for late vaccinations. I had booked an appointment well in advance with them for 12:20 on the 29th of November 2025.

This was a visit that was planned a while ago as I previously had to enquire if there was stock for the vaccinations I needed and had to confirm if they were going to be done in one day or if I would need to make two visits. I also had to get nappi codes and confirm with my medical aid if they will cover this, so we were constantly in contact.

I get there and fill in the indemnity forms, which I do and sit down. There was another gentleman there who was supposed to be for 1 pm but the clinic receptionist and sister in charge decided to assist him first because " they had already logged in his profile". On who's time????? No one made this arrangement with me or informed me of this. I was just in total shock when it happened because I had planned this visit with them well in advance.

While I am waiting for the gentleman to finish, the clinic receptionist tells me she will need my child's ID number. I confirm that I do not have my child's birth certificate with me and there is nothing I have on me that has those details with me. I proceeded to ask why she did not tell me beforehand that I must bring it.

I ended up leaving because i felt like I wasn't taken seriously. I am deeply disappointed in how my visit went and I doubt If I will ever make use of this clinic after this.
