****med at Dischem(Eastrand Mall) by store manager

I’m very dissatisfied with the service I got today at Eastrand Mall Dis-Chem from a guy called Solly!!

While on the queue to pay for items I had bought, I saw a drink that I impulsively took wanting to try it out. The only price tag that the can was next to was R31,99 and assuming that it’s the actual price I took the can. When I was paying I noticed the price change and I immediately told the cashier that the price is wrong (R34,99), it’s not the one I saw on the shelf when taking the drink. The lady called a supervisor who asked what was wrong and I explained and she said let’s go to the shelf and she saw that the price on the shelf was R31,99. She then said she will call the manager and this Solly guy came. He also asked me what was wrong and I narrated and he also said let’s go to the shelf. Upon arrival he moved the Kombucha cans next to the R31,99 and shifted them to where there was no price and then moved the energy drink to the R31,99 price that I saw. I told him that I see what he’s done but I would want to buy the item with the price that I saw and he said that’s not going to happen because it’s not his fault that the customers moved items around and put them under wrong price tags. I asked him to say please sort that out with your stuff and give me the drink with the price I saw. He said as you see that the drink doesn’t have a price tag so it means it doesn’t have a price then I asked that he gives me the item for free if it’s without a price. He said that’s not going to happen, it’s not his fault and it’s not his baby that items on shelves are mixed up. 😡😡 … I took the drink because I wanted to try it out for the first time but I was not happy with the service that I got from Solly. I ended up buying the drink with a price that they made up (because it was nowhere visible in the shelves). I was ****med by Solly the store manager!!!
