Manager refusing to honor advertised pricing, responded in an unprofessional manner certainly not befitting a manager

Dischem Walmer Park Port Elizabeth. what a disappointment. While standing in the queue to pay for my purchases, I saw crisps and took a packet. There were 3 rows of crisps, the top one being sesame and wheat. ALL 3 rows had a price display of R5.95. When reaching the till, my husband saw that the crisps rang up at a price of R22.95. He queried this and accompanied the lady to the isle and showed her the price on display. She removed the display price on all 3 rows and called for the manager, Mark Mousley and explained, advising that my husband said he wanted the crisps at the displayed price. Mark Mousley refused to give us the item at the displayed price, not even apologising for the incident. what a joke for a manager. As my husband said, how many customers have bought those same crips thinking they have paid R5.95 when in fact they were charged R22.95, as to be honest, how many people check when items are being rung up, or their till slips. I will never ever shop there again. Check your till slips people, obviously they are making a lot of money blindsiding customers with advertised prices as opposed to what is rung up at the till.
