To whom it may concern

My name is Mercia Molebatsi an employee at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital Quality Assurance during woman's month last day of the month you came to promote HPV Vaccine and we were told it's free for GEMS medical aid together with Dischem and that 3 doses is required . We went to get our medical aid and got the vaccine with a follow-up date of the 25/10/2024. I got my statement from gems with a charge of R1100 and I was angry and had I know it's false advertising I would have not gone. On the 28/10/2024 I went to Dischem to get my second dose at Wellness and the lady there told me I have to pay R1100 or else no dose and GEMS doesn't pay for it I don't have the money and went without . I want to know what is going to happen to me because of no more vaccine shots due to financial constraints. We are many at the hospital that took it so what happens now. I am writing this for myself and health concern. I would appreciate your prompt response in regards to this urgent matter.
