Mall Of Africa Dischem

My experience today with Dischem was completely unpleasant because the bank note I paid with was teared up at the top left.

The cashier went to the other Cashier who then told her that they won't take the money, then she proceeded to the cash office and came back to me with the same response, I then asked the cashier if this is how they treat their customer, she then told me about the future customers of theirs who might not want to take that note, but thinking to myself does there store not have the scanner where they check if the note is valid or not ..

The cashier then wanted to argue with me which I completely understand she is worried for her job, however as much as some customers are ********s,I feel that they must have a way to attend to such instead of being embarrassed and disrespected.

Can their cashiers have tools to check notes and be trained on knowing which note is original or not
