Lack of urgency and customer service

Since the merge between Optipharm and Dischem we have had endless issues with delivery of medication. Both my parents are on chronic medication which we get through Optipharm monthly. Since the merge, medication is either not delivered on time or not received at all. In the most recent incident, medication was delivered for my parents; however, we found that not all the medication was received.

Upon calling Optipharm and speaking to Brain Majola I was advised that the medication was not dispatched as there was a co-payment due. I advised him that the co-payment was made on the 29th of November 2016 after which I was asked to forward him the proof of payment (this was done immediately). The following day 14th Dec 2016, I called Brain back to follow up and only then did he 'action' my request. I was advised that the medication would be delivered by Monday 19th Dec 2016.

Today is Wednesday 21st Dec 2016 and my parents still do not have their medication and have been going without their medication for the past few days. I called Optipharm again today to follow up, I spoke to Brian Majola, where I was once again told that he would 'action' the query - surely this should have been done and followed up on by him since my last call!

I was insistent that the medication be delivered today and was told that I would receive a call during the day with an update - which of course did not happen. I just tried calling Optipharm and got the out of office hours voice message.

What do we do to receive proper service?
