Indefensible Slackness
It has now been near enough five weeks that Dis-Chem has been unable to dispense the chronic medication calciferol, a prescription vitamin D supplement.
It is simply unacceptable that Dis-Chem is unable--or, what is much more likely, callously indifferent--to find another source of this medication for such an extended period. What if it were insulin that was unavailable? Given its blasé attitude, it seems likely that Dis-Chem would just shrug and say, "Oh well, sorry all you diabetics, but we have no insulin stocks. Nothing we can do, you'll just have to wait."
And to top it off, that some doofus in the dispensary suggests taking an off-the-shelf supplement, which has only about 2% of the needed strength, is not only deflection of the most despicable kind, it adds an unjustifiable expense to the customer's bill which benefits only Dis-Chem.
Get your act together, or you may well find yourselves in a whole lot of legal trouble.
