Hillcrest Store Manager

I went to Dis-Chem Hillcrest Corner in Lynnwood to pick up a "click & collect". I enquired about my gift voucher that I could not use with my purchase. The lady told me because it is not an essential service, therefor headoffice blocked the use of gift vouchers. It did not make any sense to me, I want to use money in the form of a gift card to buy essentials. I asked her to call the store manager to give me an explanation, and she called Werner van Rensburg.

At that stage I did not know his name. When I asked him about the hold on the cards, he was not aware of it. He asked the lady behind the counter to call somebody, then I told him about the block. His response was that he did not know. I said that as manager he doesn't know whats going on in his store. The he responded by saying rudely "as if you know everything", turned around and walked away. I asked for his name, but he kept on walking. I yelled twice and ran after him asking for his name. He the turned around, held his hand over his name badge, and said he doesn't have to tell me anything. Then he dissapeared between the shelves.

What a nice store manager. Headoffice, he sets a good example for your brand. Maybe you should reward him for people s****s. Luckily there are other Di-Chem stores in Pretoria.
