Going the extra 'mile'

This is concerning Dis-Chem Somerset Dispensary, in particular: An issue with the availability of a certain prescription for chronic medication cropped up recently. Despite being late on a Friday afternoon, Glynnis, a pharmacist handling the dispensing, gave her time and attention to a problem that was not of her (or my) doing. This continually helpful and attentive lady persisted with telephone calls to me then to my GP, then back all over again, until a solution was finally reached. I am grateful and appreciative that such people are prepared to work the extra hour or two! On the next day, another Dis-Chem employee responsible for delivery of this medication also had to go an extra 'mile' in order to work out the correct address! Someone had not updated that particular database, and Trevor, ever friendly and determined, energetically worked out the problem and with satisfaction succeeded in timely delivery, despite conflicting details. Never complain that delivery takes a long time until the cause is ascertained, as it's certainly not always the driver's fault. Dis-Chem can be proud of two such on-the-ball employees!
