Friendly service from a West Gate Pharmacist
So today my mom went to the West Gate branch.
Just some background- my mom found out she has cancer 3 years ago - She is in remission now -
She’s been sick on and off and on for 6 weeks now.
Today she went to the doctor and was prescribed medicine - Dischem is always the go to, so she went to the West Gate branch - the lady that helped her was nice - says my mom.
Anyway - one of the Medicines she was looking for was hard to find - even the doctor told her that when she left -
Anyway after your pharmacist couldn’t find the medicine her comment to my mom was -
“When a doctor gives this medicine - after that you must tell us what flowers you like so that we can put it on your grave”
My mom says that she said it and laughed and that my mom didn’t respond back.
Now you tell me that’s what the pharmacist who’s job is the direct opposite of that should say to a patient.
I’ve got so many words for that lady - my mother does not know her name and I can’t make it out from her signature -
So excited.
Have a good weekend.
