False promotion and Iies by a branch manager

I was in Dischem Montana last week Friday, 15th. I was going to buy tooth brushes. At the shoe department I saw items on sale. I spend almost 1 hour there. Ask the gentleman to get shoes and his opinion. I was told stickers with red marks, and from a particular shelf up is marked down. Never did the gentleman tell me his new and is helping out.

I eventually have taken 6 pairs of shoes. But at the till points I was embarrassed and humiliated infront of other customers. After 30 minutes at the tills, going to shelf fetch the guy and again he Confirmed the specials. I was let to believe loud and clear by an autocratic bossy lady, she call the shots.` The guy made a mistake, he is helping out` Some shoes that he told me is mark down, did not give the discount as they did not have the red mark and the lady, happen to be the branch manager, said sorry, it's a mistake, no red mark. However 1 particular shoes which I was told is mark down, no red mark, scan 20%,less. So I ask what? I was so disgusted and almost wanted to cancel the whole sale of R2000 and spend almost 2 hours in the shop. I believe and feel the price to see is the price you pay and Dischem must take responsbility for theit staff actions and information they give to client.
