Extremely Disappointed: Poor Communication and Damaged Delivery from Dis-Chem

I am extremely disappointed with my recent online order experience with Dis-Chem. I placed my order on Sunday morning and understood that delivery takes 3–5 business days but that was not the issue.

The problem was the complete lack of communication and transparency. From the time I placed my order, I only received two emails: one confirming the order and another on Thursday stating that it was “processing”, which had been the status the entire time.

When I tried to track my order using the provided link, the page would not load and displayed an error message. Then, just an hour after that email, I received an SMS saying my order had already been delivered. I was never notified that it was out for delivery or in transit. Thankfully, someone was home to receive it.

To make matters worse, the package arrived in terrible condition! It looked like it had been completely mishandled and left outside. The shampoo and conditioner I ordered had leaked due to the poor packaging job.

This experience reflects extremely poor communication, a broken tracking system, and careless handling of orders. I don’t think I will be ordering online from Dis-Chem again.
