Extremely Disappointed and Uncomfortable Experience at Dischem Blue Route Mall

I had a very upsetting experience at the Dischem in Blue Route Mall. I entered the store to browse and briefly looked at the electric razors but decided not to purchase anything and left. A few minutes later, while walking past the store again, a man in a black leather jacket stopped me. He asked if I had just been in Dischem looking at the razors. I said yes. He said "And you took one?". I said no I didn't take one, I was looking at them, decided not to buy one and walked out. He said he saw me on the cameras and am I sure I didn't take one. I said yes, let's go look at the cameras and you will see that I didn't take it.

He said that he needed to speak to his manager and walked off into the store without explaining what I should do or where I should wait. Confused and uneasy, I explained the situation to the security guard standing by the entrance of Dischem. The security guard was very kind and said he'll walk with me to the manager's office where we can wait, and he waited with me.

Eventually, the man returned with the manager and asked me to follow them. By this time, I was rattled and upset. The manager began by asking how I am and smiled, and I said to him I'm not doing so great and felt that they are wasting my time.

After some awkward silence and uncomfortable glances between them, they eventually admitted they had made a mistake. The man who had initially stopped me, apologised. I accepted the apology and asked can I leave since the entire situation felt very ***** and unprofessional.

I'm completely put off from ever shopping at Dischem again.
