Expensive expires epi-pen

Dischem issued me an epipen in January that expires in May! For R1000 an epi-pen this is ridiculous! I want a fresh batch that I can obtain the maximum shelf life of the product, otherwise I have to buy 2 this year. I cannot afford that!
