Dispensing Anomaly

This review regards an unresolved issue with a prescription collected from the Dis-Chem Linden Lanes branch in Johannesburg. On 29/4/2026, I collected a repeat prescription for Calciferol tablets. Upon opening the sealed brown packet at home Monday the 1st of June , the medication was missing. The packet was intact, and no tablets fell out. The dispensing pharmacist has since informed me that security footage allegedly shows the item being placed in the packet. I do not dispute their footage, but I did not open or misplace the medication, so the situation remains unresolved from my side. A co-payment was made at the till. On the 3rd of June, I emailed Elsabe Cilliers, the Pharmacy Manager, directly to request her guidance on how she would proceed. To date, I have received no acknowledgement of my email and no response of any kind. I am seeking:

A formal acknowledgement of my original query, and A fair resolution regarding the medication I paid for but did not receive.
