DISNEY STICKER INITIATIVE DISAPPOINTMENT

I have been a very loyal customer of Dis-Chem for years. Dis-Chem recently introduced the Disney Sticker Reward Initiative. I though this was great seeing as loyal customers will get rewarded. So, the stickers can be collected physically and/or electronically but I'm not going into detail with that. You get 1 sticker for every R125-00 spent. You then paste the stickers onto a collection card and depending on how many stickers you collect, you will get rewarded accordingly. So, for example, you need 19 stickers to collect a 450ml kids' drinking bottle and so forth. There are in total 44 stickers and 6 items that can be collected. Great, easy enough. So, I collected all 44 stickers, which equate to a total amount of R5500-00 that I spent at Dis-Chem. I went to Dis-Chem with my completed collection card to redeem the same and collect my 6 items. I was then informed that you may only collect 1 item with a single collection card and then you have to start over with a new collection card for the next item. Wow. This was in the terms and conditions. Needless to say the specific term they referred me to was not clear. Irrespective, the consequence of this term is that you basically have to collect stickers worth R2375-00 to collect a 450ml kids' drinking bottle, R3000-00 for a 280ml fruit container (Set of 2), R3625-00 for a 750ml kids' lunch box or 470ml yoghurt / soup beaker, R4250-00 for a 600ml drinking bottle with infuser, R4875-00 for a 1.5l salad box, and R5500-00 for 2x 1l lunchboxes. So, in essence, you have to collect stickers worth R23 625-00 to collect all 6 items? Am I missing something?????? How is this in any way a loyalty reward program? I took it up with a Manager at Dis-Chem and nothing could be done as it is the terms. Which I understand. I have a problem with the terms, not the individuals enforcing them. I'm quite frankly disgusted by this initiative. Thank you for pointing me to the direction of Clicks. From now on I'll be loyal to them. Wow.
