DISCHEM'S OUT OF WARRANTY, HOME FIRE!.... THEY REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

Dischem's electric blanket could have resulted in a house fire with a devastating and fatal outcome!. Their responses: 1. At first, quality assurance is working on it. 2nd response: The operation manager has been away for weeks and has just gotten back; finally, they are now saying that the product was purchased 3 years ago and is now out of warranty! I PUT IT TO YOU: This warranty should be for a product not functioning. So after the expiry of the warranty, ARE THEIR PRODUCTS ALLOWED TO BURN THE HOUSE DOWN??? AND EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING??? The fact that the product was out of warranty could affect repair or replacement, but does it absolve this company from liability when their product causes a fire and potential fatalities???
