Dischem Waterfall Mall Rustenburg - bad customer service from pharmacist

I went to Dischem Waterfall Mall in Rustenburg to get painkillers as I was suffering from an intense headache after a long work day. When I get to the self medication counter to order the pills I am asked for an ID to prove that the ID number on Medical Aid is mine. I told the pharmacist lady that I didn't have my ID on me and that my Driver's license is in the car which I dreaded walking back to because of the weight of my headache. She responded to me that it didn't' matter and that the ID is required. I responded that my profile is on the system and that no other Dischems in Johannesburg have ever requested this of me even the one I had gone to in Bryanston to get my contraceptives. The lady did not budge and made me walk to my car to get my Driver's License telling me that this is because there has been a ***** issue. I struggle to understand this as if I was a person without a Driver's Licence and didn't carry my ID card on me as I don't right now, would I have been denied medication? It makes no sense to me how this specific Dischem requests this and all other multiple Dischems I have been to have never requested this. She further questioned me about which Dischem I had been to yesterday for my contraceptives and I responded Bryanston. She went on tell me that she didn't see it on the system of which I'm not sure what she was implying as though it's my problem that their systems aren't centralised, to which she then responded that maybe they saved me under a different profile as on their profile I last transacted with them in February. It is really frustrating that my profile could not be picked up in another province with the use of my Medical Aid number - however this is not the matter of the issue at hand. As a person who was struggling with a heavy headache, this pharmacist didn't have an ounce of care for the sake of an ID. I have honestly never received such shocking customer service from a pharmacist of all people!
